Chris set out to change the lives of kids who lack opportunity to access education and play football at a higher level by giving them a chance to play in a standard football atmosphere and ensuring they get education. He is an aspiring sports lawyer and formerly worked at The Office Of the Attorney General, is a football coach and scout. He wants to transform The Dreams Alive Foundation into a multi-million dollar center of excellence in Kenya to produce world class players and student athletes to benefit from scholarships in international universities. His dream is to ensure self-sustainability among marginalized kids at the grassroots level in Kenya through football that will create pathways for socio-economic empowerment as well as eradicate crime & drugs, eliminate early pregnancy and marriage, do away with child labor and increase school graduation rates .
Vinay is a coach who has always felt strongly about the social impacts of football. He has coached the past 12 years in Sweden, USA, Ghana, Canada, UK and Brazil and all these unique experiences have grown his commitment in turning football into a gateway of opportunities for youths.
He is excited by the vision of DAF and hopes to be able to bring quality and help change lives on and off the pitch.
Naythan Din-Kariuki is the dreams alive foundation Coordinator Of Coaching & Education. His mission is to develop the DAF coaching curriculum that develops not only well rounded footballers but well rounded young men and women. He has previously worked as a professional coach and scout for numerous organisations in Kenya and the UK. His expertise will ensure DAF achieves a self sustainable structure through generations of well nurtured young adults who will in turn become leaders within their communities
