Nutrition and food security is one of our key pillars in developing a healthy community. We always strive to give free meals from our farm to the kids in schools and also train them on basic farming skills.
However, economic hardships have been a key factor in the rise of malnutrition cases. Also, the COVID-19 pandemic has increased food insecurity and now meals are often unbalanced and lacking key nutrients for development. In some instances, the meals are not even there at all.
We are coming up with a sustainable food production production program that will increase the development of sustainable food in order to offer pathways out of poverty.
By doing so, we will be able to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 2- Zero Hunger
"End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture"
