Welcome to Dreams Alive Foundation

The Dreams Alive Foundation believes every child has the potential to do great things. We believe that through sports, children are given the tools to explore, learn, invent, and create. Spearheaded by retired professional footballer Christopher Omondi, the mission of our nonprofit is to help children develop their cognitive and social skills through football and education.

DAF Youth For Football & Development project

The Dreams Alive Foundation currently delivers Youth For Football & Development projects in Kenya & London, UK (Through Shooting Stars FC).

The scheme is designed to:

  • Engage the youth (aged 11-23) in a range of constructive activities
  • Create routes into education, training and employment.
  • Encourage volunteering within projects and throughout the targeted neighbourhoods.
  • Break down barriers between the police and young people.
  • Reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the targeted neighbourhoods.
  • Increase the playing, coaching and officiating opportunities for participants.

The Drams Alive Foundation (YFDP) projects work closely with the Local Authorities, Safer Neighborhood Team, Children Youth Services and Youth Offending Team to establish a daily routine of sporting and educative activities which are designed to gain volunteering and employment opportunities. Exit strategies from the YFDP project include partnerships with European football Clubs.

I would encourage everyone who has the chance to join The YFD(Youth Football Development ) initiative, it has completely transformed my life with soccer and life skills.
